Welcome to ProjectFat2Fit.com!

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Phil Caruso and I’d like to officially welcome you to my transformation website, titled ‘Project Fat2Fit’. This website in brief is documenting the fitness journey of an ordinary Joe, myself, to achieve not only the best body I can by the end of December, but to physically transform myself, and improve every facet of my life through the medium of Health and Fitness. I hope you find some inspiration in my daily musings and information available on my site.

ATTENTION NEW USERS

I’d like to inform you all, that my journey towards getting fit began on Monday, 7th July 2008. It was only on Thursday August 20th that I actually decided to go live with the website and construct this project. I will not lie to you, at the time I was a little self concious about putting myself out there on the web. However, through significant progress, I'd like to release this project to the world. Please, before perusing my website any further, take the time to read ‘
About Me’ to get an understanding of why I constructed this website.

I was mulling around on the computer this morning, when I suddenly realised, "Crumbs! I've forgotten to update the webpage!" - so I'm back on deck now with, what will probably be a shorter update, as there's not too much going on in my head at the moment.

I am currently studying to become a Personal Trainer, and am about 3/4 of the way through the 12 month correspondance course. I have to be honest and say that time is of the essence at the moment. I am currently working full time, I play at a semi professional level of my chosen sport (cricket), I am currently on the Operations Committee for the same cricket club, and I also try to find time for myself every now and then. It's honestly extremley difficult to juggle. I'm finding these days however, if I continue to plan and set small targets, then I'm on track for sucess.

Fitness Tip of the Week tommorow, stay tuned!

Project Objectives

Weight = Between 70 and 73kg
Weight, in the context of human body weight measurements in the medical sciences and in sports is a measurement of mass, and is thus expressed in units of mass, such as kilograms (kg), or pounds (lb).

Body Fat % = Approximatley 7%
The amount of body fat you carry, your body fat percentage, makes a difference to your body shape and your health.

Waist Measurement = 30 inches or below
Waist measurement is a good way to check your fat distribution, as this is linked to health risk. Carrying too much weight around your middle increases your risk of developing heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.

Hip Measurement = 30 inches or below
Hip measurement is also a good way to check your fat distribution, as this is linked to health risk. Carrying too much weight around your middle increases your risk of developing heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.
